Unhappy (3410) Cant detect com port

ok, well i ordered a Data Kabel this time for nokia 3410 and 7110, i start with that i put the sim card in the mobile (3410) then i put in the "thing" alongside the battery, try to turn it on and it works, so far so good, the madness starts when im on my way to program, ive used two programs so far NokTool18 kNok-Pheonix it says com2 is not detected, com3 not detected etc then it says phone not found, i dont know what im doing wrong but please someone help me .. and please read my post about the dead 7110 ( my 7110 dead )

dead 7110 done
the next problem:
To unlock, You need an MBUS cable. you can recognize it by on the connector there is a little switch, but you can test it with logomanager too. connect the cable to phone, turn on phone, wait a few sec, plug the cable into the PC, wait a few sec, and in noktool 1.8Rolis from setup menu choose auto setup. if the phone cannot be found, clean the connector pads on the phone, but if you want to operate with Mbus, the phone ALWAYS has to be SWITCHED ON.

you must change ur port in ur config its either com2 or com1 or not clean the contact of ur cable and in ur phone...

Must a Sim card be in the phone when unlocking ?

Rolis 1.8 does not detect my 3310, after i connected it, it seaches through the ports and says Phone not found. it there any special tips to connect the cable.

I discovered my problem. be sure to remove foam/sponge from around contacts on cable. It then worked
