Cingular 850 band phone to 900 ?


I think those 850/1800/1900 phone can't be just flash the software to become 900/1800/1900 ? it got difference hardware also ?

What phone you mean? Some phones like 3100b and 3595 you can convert easy, but for 6200 you need make not small modification in HW, also 6010 look like is impossible to convert with success, same thing and with 3585 ...

All Model which you talk, Except 3585, I can change band to 900Mhz successfully, 6230b is very easy

Certainly, some phone must be need change logic electric circuit a little

Current, I can change band to 900Mhz for all phone below:

1100b, 2600b, 3200b, 6590, 3100b, 3120b, 3590, 3595, 5100a, 6010, 6200, 3220b, 5140b, 6020b, 6170b,6230b, 6820b, 7200b, 6800a, N-Gage Qda, 6670b, 7610b, 3620

does any body know if this works the other way around, in another words, is it possible to take a 900 MHz phone and make it work on 850 MHz????

nokia 6010 what way to make gsm 900 ? only change band to GSM900 via Phoenix or need change HW same 6230b ? what you say about russian for this model ?

for 6230b RH-28 we use flash file and pm from 6230 RH-12. all work and with russian
