AAArrrrrrgggg 8210 with 600 MA consumption and no way to find the problem

First i thought ..."easy change pa and no more"... but is the same problem that a few days ago with a 3310, always consume about 450-600 MA calling, not PA, not CCONT, i didnīt change HAGAR because i think is not Intermitent power off for not divide 26Mhz on 13 Mhz, simply switch off calling, i tried to replace the big capacitor like in 3310 (solved _thanks Willy _ ), i have replaced capacitors near B500 and no result, i relowed all bga... still 450-600 MA. Not pcb dirty and dirty conector...

Any idea friends?

Thanks in advance and best regards

thanks but donīt solve the problem, i mean you are referring to the both amplifiers near the filters on reverse of the pcb just behind the ringer, in anverse near the ringer only there is a big medium capacitor.

@DreamGsm

I would suggest you unpack your multimeter, and next you check EVERY single capasitor around the CCONT.

Had one 6210 today with same problem, but with 950 ma.

Solution was that one (1) capasitor was shortcut and dragging the 1 leg of CCONT to ground which the phone absolutly did not like

But now the phone is back to normal.

Regards

As far as I am aware (But I could be wrong ) If a phone draws a current of 600mA then something must get HOT in the phone! That should give a possible indication to what has malfunctioned. So just change that part!

Just a thought - Use it, Dont Use it! Sho Cares
