heloo friends my 6700slider have a problrm the problem is my set automaticly turn off after some time like after 1hour after 5 hour some days turn on full night when i m checked in the morning again he turn off so tell me whts the problem and how can i changed its power i.c?

Hi sorry for reviving old thread but i need solution for my handset.
I own Nokia 6700slide and problem is on/off/end button is not working. It stopped working today in morning. I thought it might be humidity or something so i kept using handset for 2-3 hrs. Then i thought lets dry up the handset so i pulled of the battery and kept handset in sunlight for 4-5hrs. Now handset won't start.
I thought of using phoenix that if i reinstall the firmware then it would boot into os automatically and i don't have to turn off handset again. But looks like phoenix too demands on/off button after insertion of battery.

Is there any solution to this problem?? Can i somehow boot into os?? What might be creating the problem?? How much will it cost if send for repair.
