I also have nokia 7650 which is restarting. I have flashed phone but i can not reach local/test mode coz phone is still restarting. So i can not make USER AREA FORMAT. Anybody can help me?

Reflowed UPP + UEM, but no succes. i can flash phone but after flash i am unable put phone to local mode. Phone 3x restarts (logo NOKIA for 1 sec, then rastart)
Please WD2 phones experts.. anyone help?

use the method, after that flash it again it will ok 100%...

Which??

Use Prodigy to boot in Local Mode, with press on [L] on the right side Menü.
Clean your cablecontacts + resold flash...

Lol. reflowed everything. UPP, UEM, FLASH, SRAM, Bluetooth, Hagar etc.. Problem still here. What for use Prodigy box? I am using Matrix, Griff, Twister. On all devices flashing succesfull, also tried to erase whole flash and upload FW from older to newest. I can not switch phone to LOCAL that is my problem. So do not post that i have to boot it in local. Phone is unable to stay on longer than 2 sec connected to any device. But thanks for reply.

And which method i have to use?

hello,
try to erase both mcu and ppm by using pmmerase. after you flash the phone it become dead. after that then you flash it with normal flash for 7650. the phone will now turn to local mode. format it then write pm and unlock. hope this will help. i tried this my friend.

I have some erasing flash files (FIA/BIN files) but i am not sure that i can use them for 7650 (NHL2-NA) i have these >

i have tried to upload them using Twister and Matrix but no succes. Matrix writes "Wrong Flash File" twister writes >

erase all flash and rewite, if unsuccessful clean it with static clean and the rehot all the Ic except cpu and rewrite the flash it again.

2 Yoda_Brno: you have to check your cable, or put the phone manually in local: connect BSI to GND - phone must be in local. then use griffin and flash the phone (using manual mode) with fullerase.fia (for example, i used erase.fia for 3650). write fullerase.fia as ppm without mcu, then phone will be totally dead. Then manually flash it with usual mcu+ppm, then write pm values, unlock. works 100% if it isn't hardware problem.

Bck from work, erased , reflashed, problem is still here. Can not switch phone to local, still restarting.Its not SW problem.
