i am searching for alternate ways

i found this on another site

is it helpful in any way??

"1. Check/replace if needed volume keypad/volume button
2. If the problem not solved try to check other keypad, maybe short each other.
3. If the problem not solved, try to flash/upgrade software/firmware with a newest version"

Just remove BLACK IC then keypad will be OK

Don't reinstall it

i think that you overlooked my previous post

i already stated that iv put the ic out and DID NOT INSTALL IT BACK IN

even then the keypad just wont work at all..

What IC you main ?

The IC must be rmoved That is placed on back keypad not that on board

edy...i think you didnt follow the directions right

you have to remove the black ic on the back of the keypad and not the one on the keyboard as shown in the above image

i followed smkz directiON and Alhamdulilah the keypad is not hanging anymore

Solution is 100% working, for me afther 1 minute keypad hang, and now is working great afther remove black IC back from flex keypad.
