Startac 130 turns off - GSM-Forum

Hi, I recently got hold of an old Startac 130 and I also purchased a new battery. With the battery fully charged, the phone turns off when i try to make a call (press the send/OK button) Also this sometimes happens when I turn on the phone and it's trying to connect to the network. Also when I try to send a textmessage it turns off. Even when the charger connected this occurs. To me it looks like a software problem. Is there anything I can do about this problem? Unfortunely I don't have a cable to connect the startac to a computer, but ofcourse I could try to buy one if necessary.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from the Netherlands.

Little update it seems that when in remove the back part of the housing the phone stays on

Looks like something might be pressing the mainboard or something, but I can't see what.
