V170 to V171 converting problem - GSM-Forum

I have 2 pieces V170 (from Trackphone).I want to convert them to work on 900/1800 mhz .The hardware modification seems to be simple (one filter on rx-if).The problem is the software modification. I flashed them with "v171_4.4.69",i flexed them with few different flexes,but in network band menu ,the optiones are still: 850,1900.So i decided to ask some help from an acer guru.I seen in C155/177 Vygis the option to write the eeprom;probably the problem is there,but i can`t connect the phone with this program (boot problem).If anybody want to try ,i put the files here.
PS: I tried few codes from old acer-s,but don`t work,except: #02# and #09#.Can be very usefull if anybody know a code like opcode from T720,to modify the band to 900. Thanks for your attention!

There is your software,in case you don`t found it yet; DM Tool.
Simple RS232 cable.

for what?! I already flashed them with 4.4.69 (the last version as i know).And i flexed them with different flexes,but the rf-band is still 850/1900.Of course i need 900/1800.Maybe there are speciall flexes for band modification,or maybe the solution is eeprom writing. Thanks anyway! I`m still waiting for solution...

Maybe Vygis software will resolve it? I saw eeprom read/write option in it. But i have only cracked version that cant boot phone!

for vygis maybe it need test point;i have too cracked version,and it can`t boot the phone indeed!I tried to modify c139 flasher for back-up from a v171,but don`t work.i don`t know if adresses are the same for eeprom,but i flexed many flexes by this flasher,and the phone is still alive.

yes,but tomorrow,cos` i don-t have the service manual now. But the first condition is to modify the software ,cos you don`t have 900/1800 in menu.

no way Infinity,i reapet :i already flashed Main,LP,and various flexes; The only one part i can`t flash is the eeprom; maybe this is the problem.
