T230 to T290 converting problem. - GSM-Forum

After uploading T230 to T290 .mdc file I got this:

IMEI 099999-00-123456-0-09

and in config window:

IMEI 099999-00-123456-0-09
HR FR EFR AMR
SAT on
GSM1800

Flash file was uploaded ok but the phone restarts and shuts down?!?

Any ideas?

Did you also flash the T290i flashfile?

It says that you only flashed the .mdc file....

You also need to rebuild the security zone.

Haven't done that on any of mine that I've updated from T230 to T290. It's worked like a charm everytime without rebuilding security area...

Edit:
But worth trying though...

Corrupted GDFS.
Why? I don't know.

I flashed the phone with T290I_world_generic...fpl, rebuild sec. zone recalculate DCRC`s but nothing

Lead is right, GDFS is the reason but is there any GDFS rebuilt file for T230

P.S. Phone is not damaged in any way, it is 7 days old T230, converted to T290 and sold to the customer

I don´t understand where´s the point here !!

I haven´t got a T290 in my hands, but as people told me,T290 doesn´t accept the camera! so i tought the biz was to convert T290 TO T230!!

Could someone please point me to the right direction? I am plannig to buy Cruiser for this reason..
