Member: 199552 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | SetPoint 2.22 + Widcomm 5.0.1.801 with CSR USB BT and dinovo keybd. I have been reading that some of you only got SetPoint to find the dinovo keyboard using the bluetooth hub that ships with dinovo bt keyboard. Only after that can you use your built in bluetooth or usb bt dongle from another company. The problem is i don't have the original hub and mouse, i only have the dinovo keyboard and mediapad. Both keyboards connect just fine to my CSR USB dongle (billionton 1.2 device) VID_0A12 PID_0001. And i can type and so on but the Setpoint software does not detect it (ie no tabs for key settings and battery info..) This must be an issue of SetPoint not detecting the vid and pid or name of the original Logitech hub? So i tried to change btwusb.inf so my device shows up as "Bluetooth wireless hub" but that did nothing to setpoint. Is there any way of fooling SetPoint to recognize my devices without actually getting a logitech bt hub? hexedit the setup files or something? Or maybe preload logitech drivers to the Keyboard and/or HID devices in device manager? Right now my HID devices shows 2 "Virtual bluetooth keyboard" with widcomm drivers loaded and also 8 other hid devices (showed up when connecting the keyboards).. the HID keyboards under Keyboards use Microsoft driver.... What should it look like with fully installed SetPoint and what drivers? Or can i somehow get a complete install from someone with SetPoint set up already... I'm stuck please help! edit: this is the 32bit widcomm driver i use in XP. Last edited by spd303; 11-21-2005 at 23:44. |
