Nokia PC Suite 6.70.22 and Widcomm 5.0.1.1400 - GSM-Forum

Hi there,

Can sombody please confirm if Nokia PC Suite 6.70.22 works properly with Widcomm 5.0.1.1400. I am asking becuase 5.0.1.1200 did not work for me.

Widcomm 5.0.1.1200 + Nokia N70 + PC Suite 6.70.22 = all work alright foir me.

not sure about 5.1.0.1200, but 5.1.0.1400 didn't work for me (N6230). After it updated to 6.80.20 did it work perfectly.

new pc suite ver 6.8.20 supports the following bluetooth stacks:
* Microsoft Windows XP Bluetooth (included in XP SP2)
* Toshiba Bluetooth stack for Windows XP/2000 version 4.0
* Widcomm BTW 1.4, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0
* IVT BlueSoleil Bluetooth stack for Windows XP/2000, driver version 1.6.1.4*

* Note: IVT Bluetooth is not compatible with the Nokia 3250, Nokia Nseries, or
Nokia Eseries phones.

however ver 6.8.20 was released april 21, so expect the usual bugs.

hello every body
i have Nokia PC suite installed in my pc and also i have WIDCOMM driver also installed
i can easily transfer my files from a nokia 6600 phone to pc and vice versa , but my nokia 6600 pc suite (ver. 6.8...) can't recognize my phone though the bluetooth stack is defined there .

desktop system maybe works fine, but ain't in win server

Tried them a lot, now only toshiba bt stack can uses on windows 2003 x64 ...
