If it's a dongle, take it out and out it back in.

If it's built into the laptop, try restarting.

I'd try disabling the DFU device in Device manager, restarting and re-enabling maybe?

can you try turning it back to normal with the firmware upgrade program?

At the very worst, you'll need to re-install Windows or do a repair install.

same problem

I'm trying to solve just the same situation - I found that there is a driver pack from Dell which includes firmware file (R77162 ...in svcpack directory), now I'm seeking for way to flash it in.
Firmware flasher in appropriate trhread (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=166014) doesn't work...

now what?

I found the flasher and tried to upload Dell firmware using it - it shows different vendor error. Please advise working firmware for this BT, or how to disable vendor check (to be able to flash dell firmware by force).
I tried the actual one in firmware upgrade thread, one included with flasher and none worked (0 of ... bytes loaded -> file verification failed)

Complete

Heureka

I used firmware flasher from driver pack version A02 (after installation in \bluetooth software\bin\btdfuapp.exe) and firmware included in complete A05 version (R77162 ... svcpack directory).
Easy as killing bunnies with axes.
