So whats the consensus regarding A2DP on the Zonet ZUB6101C? I wanted to order one to use w/ my logitech BT A2DP headphones (very similiar to the HP headphones). Before I make the plung I wanted to know if it works w/ these drivers. If the zonet doesn't work, what does work for A2DP?

Thanks

Fredl, I suggest for your Ipaq to go to hp.com and search for 5555 update for headphones. There's an udate that loads and adds high quality audio to the bluetooth.

My question, for the experts as I'm not very familiar with bluetooth,is that I'm having trouble getting my Logitech bluetooth stereo headphones to connect with my Ipaq rx3115 which use the widcom stack. Is there something That I'm missing? I updated the ipaq and now have the high quality audio option, but I still can't connect.

Smile The Widcomm 4.0.1.900 and patches

The broadcom has stopped the links. So i found the patch and the softwares as a torrent file , you will need a download agent called bitcommet from http://www.download.com/BitComet/300...-10437124.html After you download the software. You can read the information and then click the Download link from http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3355597
( you can not download it without any torrent agent!!!)
I have not finished downloading it takes long time because there is only one seeder of the file. Its around 32 mb there are other sources bigger than this file like 80mb.i stick with this one.

Info : I am not familiar with bluetooth technology. So this is my first experience.I want to use skype on

Sony Vaio FS series

Windows xp home edition sp2

Belkin f8t001v2 usb dongle 100mt

I am not sure about the features of my SonyEricsson Bluetooth Headset. It might be not supported let's see I will definitely post the result.Cross fingers....

BTW Thanks a lot for this site because i was just using my dongle for connecting my phone and pda.Your site is a great resource.

It should work, keep in mind some basics- You cant at this point get high quality stereo sound and do internet chat yet... You can do just chat in headset mode. Also, there are 3 versions of bt hardware- 1.1 (basically worthless), 1.2 which is most common, has auto freq shift to advoid interferance and some security features, and 2.0 which key feature is DDR (dual data rate). So if you do sound, keep in mind it take alot of bandwidth and may want 2.0 I have IOgear stereo headset with mic and bt mouse, had a 1.2 bt dongle and it was laggy when I used both and had to get a 2.0 (got a Kensington model 33348 ver 2.0 type 2 usb @ compusa for apx 40.00 usd.) and it works like a champ good luck

Hello all of you! I am a first-time user and I must say I'm impressed so far with all of the information in here; however, I believe I am in a catch-22 situation until Logitech updates their Setpoint software. Here's my situation:

I have an ASUS P5WD2-E Premium motherboard with P4 Extreme 3.46 HT 1066FSB CPU. 4GB DDR2-675 memory, and am running Media Center 2005 O.S. I am running RAID 5 system disk with 4xWD1500 Raptors on Intel Matrix, Simpletech 250GB NAS, and 2 separate WD250GB data disks.

I also have an ATI HDWonder and an ATI 850XT Platinum with a 20" LG Flatron and a Sharp 45" Aquos, both on DVI-I. My keyboard is a Logitech Di Novo Bluetooth Media Center w/MX900 and media pad. My girlfriend purchased a Blue Ant Stereo Media Player and Headphones for me recently...OOPS herein lieth my quandary! I cannot install the BluePC software on top of the Logitech Setpoint that is running Bluetooth 1.2 Stack via WidComm 3.0.1.913 on a Cambridge Silicon Radio CE0682. Logitech support recommends I try to install the WidComm 4.0.1.700 and see what happens, but an earlier chain in this link indicated that could not be accomplished for the MX900 mouse, so I assume neither would it function for the rest of my Di Novo hardware set.

The Blue Ant came with it's own CE0678 Bluetooth USB dongle for running the BluePC stack drivers: Setup v2.2_8278 (7/14/04). The CE0678 and associated Bluetooth driver is A2DP and AVRCP compatible.

Since my Logitech hub physically looks like a better piece of radio hardware, and since it has a built-in power input and battery charger for my MX900 mouse, it would be wonderful to be able to update that device's driver and/or firmware to support the new ptotocols for advanced audio; however, that does not look promising.

BlueSoleil recommended that I install the new dongle and driver, but I don't believe that will afford compatibilitiy back to the Di Novo...so I'm stuck unless there are some knowledgible folks out there who have already been through this specific circumstance...or I wait until the next release of Logitech's Setpoint's software.

I would love to hear comments from anyone on this subject. If so, "Thanks Millions" in advance!!!

setpoint

I'm suggest you download a Fresh Setpoint, coz it have a NEW Widcomm 5.0..... I think
On other way, you can use a cradle from MX900 only for charging and use another dongle for connection, coz MX900 can be NOT connected to PC for charging. In the same time. You can install a Setpoint that came with your MX900 and then make an upgrade to the fresh setpoint or update only drivers - from Device manager.........

Smile Widcomm Driver Problem

Guys Gals! I've been struggling with my newly bought Bluetooth dongle for 5 days now.. PLEASE plsss help me..
I got it from EBay and its unbranded. but it came with the driver cd which installs Widcomm 4.0.1.700 software.
This is my experience step by step.

1. Before installing the cd, when i plug the dongle to the machine it says new hardware found and inside the balloon it says BCM2035. Nothing about a Bluetooth dongle. And when I say automatically find drivers. It fails and says cannot find.
2. I install the cd by running the setup file on the cd (the only file) then it copies some files to the disk and starts the Widcomm 4.0.1.700 setup.
3. Everything goes smooth and it asks for a restart and hen I do that too.
4. once restarted there is the BT icon on the tray and I right click and say start using Bluetooth and it installs all the other driver such as Bluetooth modem and so on.
5. I can go to my Bluetooth places and discover the phone and discover the phones (Nokia 6681) services too.

My problem
1. The Nokia pc suite only shows ‘Bluetooth (Microsoft)’ on its connection manager list. Not Widcomm
2. The phone doesn’t discover my pc when I say find devices in range in the phone!

What I did
I tried installing Widcomm 5.0.1.802 it also installed well. But when everything is done and when I right click the icon on tray (which has turned red) it says device not present!

Please help me on this why is this happening? Where have I gone wrong?
This is the first forum I’m writing. I see that you guys are much more knowledgeable than the other forums I’ve read!
