I have a 7250i here I want to flash, but I want to keep the pics on the phone or put them back on after the flash. Can this be done ?

yes u can by MOBIMB programe for download tones and image

u can select all ana make copy from image

read full pm [0-255] , fullflash, then write pm again:-)
