hi mates.

got this one in a very bad situation. Was no power at all. completely corroded. Managed to revive it and makes and recieves calls ok. However the ringing tones are not heard at all. Key presses are ok.

My first guess is that the sound chip is dead .... and believe it is the one near the battrey connector (correct me if wrong). Is there any way i can check if it is really this chip that is bad? If yes is there any other part i can use from any other samsung pls? If none of these are right anyone can lead me on pls?

Check it in D520 Schematic. It has been released
