E900 number keys wont work - GSM-Forum

i have a e900 and the keys will not work has not been wet, i have tryed a new flex and still nothing. touch keys work fine it is just the number keys! ne1 no wot 2 do??? thanks

Not sure about e900 but quite a few samsungs have this issue,
The usual fix is to replace a few vresistors
(between leds and buttons on top board)
Have search an experiment or two,an post results dude

I have a similar problem in that the soft keys (on slide) do not light up or work.

Number keypad ok.

Any help appreciated.

I have at least found the service manual for this phone. Now to dissassemble it??

yes check some varistors!!!
replace it for some shorted!!!
