W900 problem with Cruiser cable - GSM-Forum

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before...

I have just made my own cruiser cable, and it works, as I have attached my K800 and am able to read the CID etc in Davinci client, and also SEMCTool reads it but chucks up an error which is understandable as its not supported.

Everytime i plug my w900 in, and press the power button when it says, it just goes into USB transfer mode and doesn't read the CID at all.

I really am struggling and the cable definately isn't to fault.

The battery level is full, so that can be ruled out if it would cause anything.

I'm in the process of doing a master reset as I flashed it about a year ago using the USB cable supplied with davinci client, after getting the White screen of death, and at the same time i chose to debrand it, but now looking at the call timers, they are currupted, i'm just wondering if that would cause anything?

If anyone can help, i'd be most greatful.

Hold C button and plug the cable into ur phone so as to prevent it from going into USB tranfermode (u have 30 sec , however)

Hi, I have tried that also, but it just goes into USB transfer mode, and thinks its charging every second or so, with the light on the side coming on and off.

I did a little search and someone on here a while back said it was water damage for them, but my phone has been nowhere near any water.

I have tried seeing if the w900 works on the DCU60 USB cable and its fine, it just doesn't want to initilise com's with the cruiser cable, whereas my k800 works effortlessly with it
