@ Jr Telecom,

In case if boot version get read as 4.00 it shows that the phone has some hardware malfunctions. Most probably that the flash chip is damaged.

yep I have the same problem but after not end of prepare procedure. i half of work I was text please update Your smart clip adapter but Hi have new update yesterday. now phone dead and whne I try prepare by smart tp say don`t V3re boot 4.00 not acept

i have the same problem, my assistant did the v3re in flash mode and stoped in the middle of the process and cutted the track, i soldered back but now reads 4.00 and reads boot failed can it be repaired?

Try to check pcb for damage track ,component.

There is no doubt that SC is the top quality tool in MOTO unlocking market....but many people with less experience and more posts kills phones and then cry. Look here did 2 phones without any problem. SC is the king of moto unlocking kingdom.

i think youre right, doing the v3re in flash mode changes the boot version because before the track was cut it read 0x400

Sorry to say please dont distract others....there is no need to cut nothing there.....if it reads boot version 400 it is 100% damage of flash chip on fone.And then you cant do anything....and its good for spares now...pleasae follow instructions...you cant kill a single fone.

Totally agree with you. I also unlocked many pieces of V3re and with SmartTP 1.0 and works very well.
Just must read instructions and follow this.
Read first and then try
