C168 Repair IMEI Failed


C168 restart on power on when inserted sim card... I flashed eeprom from infinity support to phone set gone to wrong imsi puk.... i tried different eeprom .... this problem solved but with write error.

Now set has no imei .... whenever i press *#06# no imei is shown I tried to write imei...but with following error: -

Error: error flash command...
try #1 to recover erase error # 43....
Writing Done

What to do now ???

charge battery and
try to full flash phone (all 5 parts: main+lp+flex+melody+images)

I also have same problem with c168 imei corrupt ... tried to flash it and log is below....

Still same error #43.... and imei not changed still show blank imei...

Yes i did the same and flashed it with fw 1490 with following files.... Battery 100% full...

C168_Flex_1490-013.69F
C168_Images_1490-004.69G
C168_LP_1490-008_En_Fr_Arabic_Farsi_Urdu.69P
C168_Main_9-1490-000.69M
C168_Melody_1490-004.69G

But still write error #43 and same situation no imei rebuild

it is not hardware. just write good repair eeprom from support area and flash it after that just repair imei and all is ok.

@infinityhelp
why u always take it for hardware if u not know about that?

It's only because I have a very big experience and I know a lot about phones, hardware, software and much more about users.

Many people even can't imagine that phone can be hardware damaged, they flash water-damaged buggy phones 1000 times, write eprom, write firmware and finally phone become totally dead.
After that they cry that box killed device, but when they open phone (after 2 days of "software repair") they say to me "sorry" in ICQ (but in most cases not in public forum).

I hope I have made a good explanation.

yes u right for some people but if someone is confirm that is software problem but u force them that should check hardware like me about LG KG110 but i not opened phone and keep try with software and set is alive and working so u released new version as fix kg110 flashing so C168 may be soft bug coz i also try in working phone but still same problem
