DONT USE THE INFINITY BOX TO FLASH THE C168I

i HAVE TRIED EVERY COMBINATION OF FLASH FROM INFINITY WEBSITE
C168I ALL COMBINATIONS AND FULL FLASH KILLED 16 OF MY PHONES.

UNLOCKING WORKS FINE!

FLASHING DOES NOT!!!

Hello,

I recommend you wite your messages little bit more correct next time to avoid deleted messages.

If you have a problem just explain the problem and we will help you to solve it, if you want to write stupid messages you have found wrong place.
You are just a liar, nobody who has clear brain continue to kill phones one by one and kill 16 phones and then write here stupid message instead of ask help after problem with first phone.
So, please, write your "sorry" here and we will continue this funny discussion with liars.

Well, Its your files that I tested with these unlocked phones. My phones where working fine.... Until I tried every combination of YOUR FILES.... I am not sorry for what I wrote only that I accidentally changed the fonts.. As per your customers... Hello everyone try flashing your C168i with there flash files

Hi!
What version of c168i did you have successfull unlock (direct unlock)? my c168i version is S1.230 and i use x60 cable for unlock,but can't connect with fone ,its always power on(cable well with other models)
any input?

Also when are you going to solve the issue with the UTSTARcom which was promised by your team to be resolve back in NOV 07??

You mean, I should ask for help. So When I have been asking for help since nov 07 about the utstarcom 779 which I bought a total of 6 infinty boxes.

I would have been helped?

Lets see how much is the infinity box from unlockcellular? times that by six.

Lets see if you would be upset and stuck with alot of phones..

no no... I should be fine then...

What was written " Should be done it 3 days" right its been several months...

I'll try my best to be happy..

I know that infinity is one the best unlocker.. I am just angry
that i spent so much money.. You would be too.....

The problem with the c168i is I have selected model:c168i, then i try to flash the phone with your firmwares, A popup displays : "Probably wrong model selected, do you want to continue?" every time.

This phone is a C168i

I tested both c168 and c168i

I flashed my C168i with firmware C168i_Main_1-1020-000_2006-Aug-17.69M.bin
Now the phone is dead.

PLease tell me what I did wrong?

yes me too i think the problem is you . if you canot flash the phone infinity team will help you . infinity box is the best

sry t o say that many members dnt point out this problem tht whn we flash c168i wid infinity box its always says wrong phone selcetion and i think its only for user lock nt for flashing coz i tested 4 cp AT&Tc168i infinty also cant sp unlock em hope infinity team will solve the problem or admit this is for user code only not for flashing i also tried 2 cp flashin thy r dead now

A lot of different types of C168 models exist on market. For Europe and for America, C168 and C168i.
So, if you want to see your phone good working you must read documentation and use different flash files sets:
C:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Documentation\Infinity-Box_FlashFilesDescription.htm

Phone was killed by YOU but not by Infinity-Box.
If you was little bit lazy and did not tried to make easy "search" procedure it was YOUR fault but not Infinity-Box fault.
You have read WARNING about wrong model 16 (six****) times and you did not tried to think what was the reason, nice.
Also there is a warning text in support area for C168i mode (everybody ignore it, it's not a problem too): Make backup before flashing due to different hardware configurations exist !

What to do: flash phone with c168 files sets (f.e. 14xx) and see results. One of firmware set should help.
If phone power on with "unauthorized" message make "repair" operation.
Also I am sure that all instructions will be ignored this time too, so just want to remind: you must use main + lp + flex + images + melody files the same version according to doumentation: C:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Documentation\Infinity-Box_FlashFilesDescription.htm

Couldn't find .. thank you for pointing that out to me..

Like I said I have been having a rough time..
Please resolve that issue with the UTstarcom..

As for remarks about the infinity box, I always said, there one of the best
unlockers out there..
I know the guys at infinity are over worked with many problems and new tasks.

I am just stressed about my problem too.. You would be to
in my situation..
