SPD Serious Request
 

Hello team,
Spd773x phones with Android v5xx & v6xx Read Firmware must be improved,we encounter problems like software Not Responding. phone goes to charging mode
Hope next update will be made simple

I have seen just 4 or 5 reports for all time.

Never encountered a problem as you are complaining before. That's strange to me.
The only problem I faced was with SC7731C CPU which has been fixed a long time ago.
You need to study the tool well and know how to use it, e.g., if you need to read firmware, you
must disconnect and reconnect phone to pc 3 times as tool demands before getting successful operation
and also be able to identify your phone's boot key for connection.

There can be drivers or cable problem, probably. I not see reason make any changes of things which are work well.

This is obvious indicates what i mean,All operations runs fine except Reading FLASH to the mentioned ANDROID VERSIONS
am using Win7 32bit,& Xp sp3 same problem Respected Jaydi.

Hello, I'm not trying to be oversmart here.
As per your comment, you can perform all operations except reading flash.
My question is, why can you perform all operation but can't read flash?
There is tricks involved in being able to read flash on this CPU.
In fact, reading flash on this CPU is the most difficult and trickiest operation ever especially when the phone's battery is non-removable.
and if you take your time and study the tool well, you will be successful.
I have experienced your complaints before and know what you are talking about.

To Dear Team,
It is not recommended and convince able that every user complaint about it.
If Mr.Jaydi see 4 to 5 reports then this should be noticed.
I also face such problems while reading or writing with these C.P.U but not write here.
May be Mr.Jaydi could have so much time and check his PM to find a message from my side.
I know this guy "Kirumira" very helpful for all Users of Infinity Box he can not be on mistake.

FINALLY I TESTED,PROBLEM WAS POPUP WINDOW MISGUIDING

NOTE: If you HOLD BOTH VOL- & VOL+ keys,phone boots automatically to charging mode,this was working in OLD METHOD OF READ FLASH AFTER ENABLING USB DEBUGGING[ADB MODE]
TESTED ON KIMFLY M2 [VOL + IS BOOT KEY] Here we go;
READ INFO
READ FULLFLASH
WRITE BACK READED FIRMWARE AFTER FLASH ERASECONVERT TO PAC

this is true, when software again say to connect only use + or - boot key(this depend on handset), then reading start properly.

You must have known this, actually every SPD phone uses different key combination as boot key.
Some requires vol + only, some vol - only, and some (can say 60% phone) require both vol + & - simultaneously.

Hence, regardless the popup instruction, you need to connect the SPD phone, pressing the required boot key 3 time during the read flash operation when prompted by the software.

Actually the most convenient way is

First do read info, and connect phone with boot key combination...
Here you will get to know about the boot key exactly for that phone...

And during read flash, you need to use that key only while connecting the phone to PC 3 times...

Purpose to create this post is to only make the things clear and not hurt/disrespect any person experience or anything like that

best way i know is once phone keep turning it self on..then if the battery is removable..remove it and try with no battery..100% solution for mtk..some spd works like too... when u want to read.. better,first read info and then when device goes to flash mode .... use same mode to read
