In 95% of all the cases when the phone shows simcard registration failed it's because the phone are blacklisted by imei ( registred as stolen or lost ) and in some cases it's simcard problem.

ive just checked it again twice and its says that the imei has not been reported lost or stolen and the sim card works in other phones, they were the first two things a thought of is there no way it could b a hardware problem.

You have to provide your mobiles box or warranty card's photo state to CPLC or fax them.. they will clear you from black list then your phone will able to accept all sims.. take care...
