have an Eric t18sc which was displaying 'SIM englisbe..' opr words to that effect without SIm and PIN engels.. with SIM inside. No keys were working after this message. After improper EEPROM change it is now dead

Now does not respond to EEPROM tools.
Anyone know what to do ? Change EEPROM chip maybe ??

try to use external programmer and put working eprom dump inside.If not work change the eprom chip.

Hey cobbas, you mean like use pony prog or something as external programmer ?

You can use for T10/T18 different programms to write EEPROM with datacable:
For example:
ATR Service Software 2.2 up to ATR 5.3
NE Tools 1.21
All Ericsson - Varanius
Ericsson A1018 T1x eeprom reader writer v0.8 by cage

Thanx a million Tigerente. Ichanged the chip (EEPROM) and now when I swtch on it only vibrates. No Display no LEDs. Do I Flash or what?
