cx65 no communcation with serial & ufs does'nt work - GSM-Forum

HI,

I have always need trouble with cx65's and serial cable, with no communcation. I spoke to sst and they said use ufs which i did and have been doing OK, but today the program said i have to update, when i updated i now cannot get the ufs to connect, two ufs boxs i have tried with 6.31.

What to do now, serial does not work and ufs does not work?

HI,

Not cracked i have orignal, 6.31 is the lastest version for UFS, and like other people will say it does'nt work.

I was hoping to get a reply as to why the old version worked and not this one.

Yes!, please check on www.sst-gsm.com there is a version for UFS, but its not working very well. The old version did work sometimes.

BTW, i unlocked the phone with another tool, which i have now brought, as i had no help from SST. Thanks SST team for being so unhelpful!!!

The UFSx support for SST was just a prerelease while we were expecting the promised investment from the UFSx producer. It is currenly in suspend state and will be added again in SST 7.0 along with other ftdi devices support.

can you answer my orignal question please? i have another cx65 today with the same problem!!!!, will not work with serial or ufs box.

i unlocked a sl65, 5 mins before, but it will not unlock cx65!!!

still cannot unlock cx65 (from orange uk) with new 6.82 version, and still will not work with twister box(it did before update). also killed (now beeps) a sl65 with version 6.80 yesterday.

what is going on?

Probably your problem is that your cable is not good.
The ufs version for SST was discontinued as the latest version is v 6.31
Soon most of our resellers will offer SST autoignition cable which is designed specially for SST

thanks for the reply but its not the serial cable is i have used it to unlock over 100 phones without any problem. the problem is only with cx65's if i did'nt have to update the ufs box i could of used that. is it not possible to use an old version of the ufs software or is it possible to fix the initionation problem?

also can i use a normal usb data cable with the software to unlock a cx65?

the problem with ufs version of SST is probably caused by this that ufs drivers at your system were updated by ufs software. Problems that you have with your cable with CX65's is because of incompitable input levels at your cables with the ones at service mode. Also please check if the phone version is not over v36 like it is at all new phones. in this case you should open the phone and use test-point
