the solution not are only change keypad
make a general reset to the phone and it work well ,today are comun after flashing in v3 have troubles in camera, keypad,and display failures
after reset this work if not , flex the phone

Get MotoTools ...

I`ve never had problem with any Moto with it

try to change the flex cable- u can put even a non- working one- just to see that the buttons are working.

try to check the vol swicth ,if the vol swicth drity also can make the keypad flaut

i never see this solution on this forum so i will post it for all of you

this is soluton for motorola V3 keypad not working /only power on/off is working/

so you need any program which can upload flex....PST 7 is good and tested and i prefer it ........ use flex uploader and upload only fix

ps// open *txt file with winRAR

What about if we have a problem in the V3 with the Camera when u try to access the camera the phone hangs on and u cant do anything just Black Lcd and flex for this problem coz i tried all the super files and the latest flashes and still the same thnx bye

I have v3 with keypad fault, when replace lcd from another work fine, when I connect (faulty v3) display on another v3 I have same problem - only on/off working

I HAve some v3's with the same problem as gsm hanky. That is, keypad works ok with one lcd but does not work with another. (I tried a new flex cable but it made no difference)

Any ideas please??

your phone after water. Check keys upper side, and train under small display

Sorry, can you explain better vladimir...

Phone had no water damage at all. All upper keys seem ok when tested for continuity.
