How to unlock DB2020 CID 49 and CID 51 for FREE with MT box SE - GSM-Forum

How to unlock your DB2020 phones CID 49 and CID 51 without server credits?

Start DB2020 inside software v3.4 or higher version
Select phone model
Press phone info to see which CID your phone has
If the phone info is:

CID in FLASH(dec):49

or

CID in FLASH(dec):51

Then add to software "UpgradeCID49_CID51_to_CID52.ee" file
The file is found in: C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT SonyEricsson\DB2020 inside\Repair files\
Press Do IT button and wait to software finish
Disconnect phone from cable and remove battery
Attach battery and power on the phone
Wait to see message "Insert sim"
Power of the phone and connect it to cable
Press phone info to see its phone CID in FLASH(dec):52
If yes now you can use CID 52 unlock method which also does not require server credits

@ All who have problem when try to unlock CID 52

If any error when try to unlock CID 52 appears when write unlock file or mcu us this method:

Reconnect phone battery and remove from software file list "CID 52 Unlock Part1.act"
On the list now need to be MCU+DEC+CUS file
Flash your phone by USB or box cable
Wait to software finish and power on the phone
Wait to see message "Inser sim card"
Turn phone off
Add "CID 52 Unlock Part1.act" again to software list ON THE FIRST PLACE
After "CID 52 Unlock Part1.act" add MCU+DEC+CUS file
Press Do It button and wait to software finish
If again you got error try to use some older phone software version files

If any error after write unlock + MCU file, just write again DEC + CUS
If any error when write unlock and mcu file, flash phone then repeat unlock process

Patch for DB2012 CID 50 possible, Please read user manual but patch for DB2012 CID 52 not possible.

Thx for the valuable info.So CID52 unlocking is free with Mt-SE,But CID upgrade need credits or not ? Manual told me .ee file needs 5 credits ,maybe you donnot have time to revise the manual

Its true? I saw there are 2 files 4 upgrade eeprom...UpgradeCID49toCID51.ee and UpgradeCID49_CID51_to_CID52.ee.
Maybe the last is free
