SL45 remote TV control java appl.!?

Hi Sl45 Mages!

I've some problem.
I've this midlet: Remote.jad

MIDlet-Version: 1.0.0
MIDlet-Vendor: DarkWan
MIDlet-Jar-URL: file://A:/Kjava/jam/Remote/Remote.jar
MIDlet-1: Remote, , Remote
MIDlet-Name: Remote TV Control
MIDlet-Jar-Size: 3170
MIDlet-Description: A simple remote TV control

Manifest-Version: 1.0
Created-By: 1.3.0 (Sun Microsystems Inc.)

I can't use that and there's no help file!
How can I turn on and off for example my TV?
What do I need to write in the field URL?

Anyone who needs to try sends me an email and I'll give the appl. to him/her!

But I recommend replies!

"Of course, you have to know that it doesn't work at all...
But it's pretty good for someone that would work on it."

I don't believe that this programm isn't as usefull. The power of the IR sending unit isn't great - I read that the distance is only 30cm!!!
It's better to build an IR remote controller for the PC and to use an IR software to controll the computer. I tried the applet and yes it activated the IR sign on the SL and said that was data sent and my IR receiver on my PC was able to detect signals. So it's running

But forget the idea of controlling your TV - First you'll need the codes and second the range is lousy. Use an universial remote controller from the supermarket. Much faster and easier to use

Yeah but the idea is to be able to go to a multi-store with many TVs and raise all the TV's volumes high without being noticed...Me? I was sending a sms with my mobile

I also don't check that param and if you send a data string - maybe "123" the Datafield never displays the same.

But data is sent - DOSgIR (my IR programm to controll my selfmade MP3 Player) receives data
