mp3's stuttering with FW56?

hi. i've had my phone for ages, but only recently started using it again, basically for hte mp3. i upgraded to FW56, becuase i want a 128mb MMC.

when i encode an mp3 directly from a cd to VBR 192-256, i put it on teh phone and every second, there's a jump in the song, split second. i've tried using the original headset and the same thing happens. i dont' remmeber it doing this. i'm using the orginal mmc and lame to encode the mp3's.

do i need to reencode all my mp3's to CBR, becase that will take up so much space.

48kbps?? that must sound like Sh**, anwyay, it's your own prefereance.

weird thing is, i reencoded a song with the same encder (lame), to VBR 192-224, and it worked ok, and i noticed the time was slightly mroe accurate. perhaps the bitrate i set it to the first time were too high?

I`d prefer a Streambox Ripper 2.11 to rip audio files, there are possibility of volume and equalizer settings... So can i rip a 96kbs with high volume and pitch and small size
Good Luck..
