Member: 9891 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | Java? Probably (it is possible) ... But, personally, I'm still far from that possibility ... so many functions need to be check before I know how to copy Java engine from other firmware to SME45 ones (and also, read jaelanicu concern: java with very small storage capacity is almost nothing, just like M50). Member: 10063 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @RizaPN Do you know what location (address) in full-flash file has got FlexMemory and internal SMS memory ? Could you help me ? Why am I asking... I had killed my ME45 so I have repaired it using full flash backup. And now I don't have neither SMS messages in internal memory nor SMS messages in archive in FlexMemory. I had made a backup of full flash before I have uploaded repairing full flash backup, so I think that the way to restore lost messages exist. But I don't know which address of full flash I have to set and upload to phone... |

Member: 22810 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | can somebody publish all patches at the begin of this topic as a partial flash, so it won't be a necessity of changing full firmware. It could be then so easy like an expanding of flexmem. |

it isn't such a bad... look for nokia 3410, 3510, moto720... it is still possible to load to such a memory good 2-3 applets. | |

Member: 10063 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @rizapn I have red your post about SL45i v56 patching. There are many interesting patches. For example: a) Assign Any Ringtone to Any Phone Number b) Use Screen Style Images as a Screen Saver when Keypad is Locked c) Hide SIM Application Menu d) Toggling between SIM-Location and Addressbook when entering SMS Recipient No. e) The most important (I think so): You gave a posibility to set own shortcut to some keys (you published the table with infos). Could you put these patches for S/ME45i? Thanx in advance! PS: Your patches are great! |

Member: 9891 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | SME45i Flash Patching ... @juchasek: If I have new working patch (for S/ME-45i v04), I will post it here. Currently, I am working on those (all SL45v56 like) patches. SME45 has more complex assembly (for me, at least. maybe because I like SL rather than SME). Almost all routines are different with SL. That's why I needs more and more time to find and patch all the thing that I did for SL45. @Dentin: You can read all patches for SL45v56 in the "Siemens - SL4x" section under "Flash Patching" topics (there are 3 topics with many pages each). For summary, you just need to read the Sticky ones ... RizaPN |
