I sold off my Tocco a few days back and got a brand new set of Sony Ericsson C902. The camera function is at least 5x better than what I had for this tocco. On top of that, the keys are so much better with the hard keys now, I never had a chance to key proper messages until I got this C902.

Hope you guys enjoy flashing and sending the phone back to samsung service centre. :S
I've done just the opposite! Got rid of my C902 and got a Tocco Hope it works out!

Hi there.

I have a Tocco on T-Mobile and have updated from the original firmware to XXHH2 then to XEHJ1.

I have the same problem I have always had of very poor call quality. It sounds really muffled and I cant hear the caller properly. I want to return the pohne to a T-Mobile shop but think ther will tell me to bugger off as I have updated the firmware.

Is there anywhere I can download the original T-Mobile firmware from? I have had a look round butr cant see it anywhere. My wife's Tocco is working fine, from what I have read there is no way to get the firmware ogff that to put on mine, is that also correct?

Many thanks.

Mines going back again, after Samsung called again, said the called the repair and reason got a replacement Tocco, was they had to replace the Main board on mine - TOSH!! I bet...

Will wait to see what it comes back with this time, and if not, will prob try a flash myself to HJ1 as it sounds the best thats out there (and poss the last as Tocco is prob now classed as old eh?)

I think HJ1 is about the best that's around at the moment. One niggle....the calendar only allows you a max of 100 appointment. I'm sure on my Voda UK firmware it was much more. Anyone know a way to increase this?

I've got a problem with a F480. I've tried to flash it with any version available in the first screen of this topic, and it always stops when the downloader hit the rc1 file. I saw one post at the first screen, and there's a guy with the same problem that I have. The only thing that I didn't tried is to flash the phone's boot. Someone said in a post not to flash it.

Any solutions?

Thnx

Can you say what the difference you see in the two cameras then please?

I bought the Tocco, as I wanted a nice big screen, and the cmaera was important to me, I had a K810i before.

How do they compare against each other?

cheers

I think the C902 camera was better than the Tocco. Tocco pics still a little blurred in places even with EJ1 firmware. But I'm no expert and don't use my phone camera very much. I've got an iPhone as well and must admit for usability all-round the iPhone beats the Tocco hands down.

I'm using the 5.33 downloader and the firmware, I've tried F480XEHF3, F480XXHF7, F480XXHD9 and all these 3 gives me error when hit the rc1.

I'm thinking to give a shot for the ust pro to write this phone.
