no way by smart moto yet only mss4 to unlock this model.

I also tried to unlock this using P2k and this is what i got...

Connecting to phone ...
Switching to P2K mode ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Test Interface'
Switching to flash mode ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Flash'
Connected OK
Bootloader version: 08B0
Sending loader to phone ...
ERROR: Sending second loader (2)
ERROR: Send loader failed (1)

You have NOT make testpoint, or you have not make it corectly (your bootloader is 08B0)!
So, again, connect TP to GND, power phone, plug USB cable, discconect TP then make unlock. Use L6 or U6 as model selection. And IT SHOULD work!

what made you say IT SHOULD work? have you tried it yourself or you're just saying theoretically it should work?

I not have now one V557 phone to try/test, but this phones is Neptune LTE based, and have flashbootloader higher than 08.A0, so EXACTLY like L6 or U6.
Regarding all of this, if you make CORRECT TESTPOINT there is 99,99% chances that unlock WILL WORK.
Also, I use EXACTLY bootloaders and method from 'other tool/box' and this 'other box' reported testpoint unlock working well on V557. Same apply to V330 and V540.

SmartClip can now unlock Motorola V557 via Testpoint... Tested by me===>>>worded 10000000% I heard that MSSV4 and Ultima box can do it too...

Guys,
just download the latest version of SmartMoto (1.18) and use testpoint to unlock the phone. It has 557 in the unlock section. Also update yoour clip to 2.23. I did it and it works 100%.

Hi all,
I have the phone (v557) and the usb cable that came with it.
What else do I need?
I can open the phone and get to the test point although the picture I got is not very clear.
what else do I have to buy and where from?

It has 557 in the unlock section. Also update yoour clip to 2.23. I did it and it works 100%.
