I need to know what type of diode is D2 in redbox board. I suspect it is short circuit. My redbox came repaired from reseller and it worked for no more than five minutes and then "box not connected".
Thanks

in reality this cause is not correct 100%.
if you execute the soft & 5volt not connected, what happen?
answer for this question : no thing.

& answer to the big question the conception of the electronic circuit, may be the problem is exactly in power of many ics.

Of course, I'm sure that it is not key problem.
The diode is ****n and it is a power suply problem, or something worse. If the ic is affected no way to solve it.
Now the only way to know it is change diode, but I don't know what type of diode is.

d2= 1n4148. & to resolve your problem eleminate the bleu LED, disconnect other perepherals that connected to USBs ports, & you try to execute the soft.
