Rebox not found - GSM-Forum

This morning i hooked up my redbox to unlock a phillips phone and upon running SWS_Philips_Commander_5_5_010306.exe i got the error message box not connected. i run the program Redbox_SN_Reader_210805.exe and these are the messages it gave me:
upon read Key: Reseting key...OK.
Reading key...Error!
When connecting to server this all i got:Connecting to server... OK!!!
Asking server for access...

Any suggestion on what tthe problem might be? please let me know as soon as possible. Thanx in advance

Mine Redbox only SWS_Philips_Commander_5_5_010306.exe problem,
This version is working for me : SWS_Philips_Commander_5_3_101205.exe

Are you new user ? you ready have xxxxxxxxxxx.key ?

I have been using redbox for a while now so i have my keyfile. that does not seem to be the problem. it says "box not connected"

sorry, but welcome to the club.

You have now a little red box that works for nothing... Don't expect any kind of support for this problem.

So absoltely no hope there. ouch. any idea what causes this problem?

Yes. The hardware is very very fragile. Anything can kill it... you can see it...

oh, i forgot to mention, the power led is on when i hook up my redbox 2 but still that crap

yes, true, box dead (had 2 like this); now ask reseller for exchange if in guarantee.

I have same prblem"box not conect" and has blue light when i conect usb cable.But it's has strange.
I bought box from my friend.Box working on his PC.But my pc not working.
I use same key from his.
Pls help me.

possibly, i know some AMDmachine and via motherboard , where redbox says box not connected. its not a question of ltp settings or bios. check with your friends computer again to see if box is working again.

I did your help.Enable LPT but still box not conect.
I saw my friend plug USB cable ->>> Box conect
I do it same his but not conect.
Pls tell me what i can do ?

hello, i try a lot of time myself in my amd machine; test all the settings possible; but always box not connected, then i try on a p4, and it works. whats your system buddy.
if it was bad key file, it would have been a problem of usb power voltage, but for box not connected, either the pc is not communicating or redbox is dmage. in your it is not damage as u can run it at your friends place.am i right?
