Again dead gd87 - GSM-Forum

I upgraded soft ver. on my friends gd 87 and in the midlle of uploading soft thru winmodo at 30% my all street have been cut out from electrical power...everything stoped.....comp has go off
and the gd87 as well...i cant power up....as far as i know...probably the gd has no flash...i think that it erased all....
started again winmodo but cant power up the phone so......
is the phone dead for good????
or can I replace Flash Chip....and how???? Or can you??

please give me some info

As long as the boot was programmed, then the phone should be recoverable. Start by recharging the battery on another phone (if the firmware is erased, the charger doesn't work - even though the LED lights up.

Leave the battery off the phone. Connect up WinMoDo and the cable, start the download, and then install the battery and press the power button. The phone should start flashing.
