N73 unlock problem. Phone reboot. - GSM-Forum

Hi,

I have a N73 Japan set for unlock (4 lock closed). When Unlock phone, UID send special code but then half way thru, phone will reboot. I have tried it with Var 1 and 2.

Any ideas? What is your working setting like?

TP for N73 Clock is Bottom left 10, and Top Right 3. Power Supply is direct from USB, same as using Ron2pet schematic for 6280.

thts reaally good ....... but sme time usb and power supplies makes some problems... i recommend to use fully chraged battery .. always works for meee

Phone reboot while unlocking problem solved. Must reflash phone and do Factory Setting. As for the rest, I used DKU-5, Dejan SW, Power Supply from USB with 7.5K resistor to BSI. Phone MUST BE in TEST MODE, good contact with CLK PIN is VERY IMPORTANT. Thanks for all your help.

well i dont use to put phone in test mode .. i always use to have battery connected to phone ..and have no problems .. using DSS.... any ways .. thts ncie ur phone is unlocked thts GOOD..

Glad I can help

Even sometime DSS failed for unknown reason but using dejan freeware can unlock with 1 hit only!!

but i never had the problem with using Dss software .. i alwasy use 0.2 version....

Lucky or not doesn't really matter at least we find a way to unlocked those phone is good enuough!!!
