use itunes version 8.0.i have use the software for unlocking globe locked iphone3g and it works well without sim patch.good luck and happy unlocking

I meant to write that i have the following in the settings

Network - Not available (when an o2 sim is in it!!)
version - 2.1 5F136 (see above)
Carrier - (null) (null)
Model - MB489B
it has an IMEI listed
ICCID - 894* 110* 644* 417* ***
Modem Firmware - 02.11.07

Can anyone tell me why i don't get the carrier or the network (it's a uk phone locked to o2) Do i need to do anything else to have the phone useable on o2?
I'm looking forward to tomorrow to use the yellowsnow in the hope it unlocks it totally so i can use my orange sim!!!

FIRST YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR FRIMWARE INTO 2.28 THE ONLY BB AVAILBLE FOR INJCTING THE UNLOCK CODE. but you have to wait fro the yellow snow and don t wait your time ...dev team still working to resolve some bugs.

i have the same problem with CALS specially Carrier - (null) (null) but when i put back my USIM still no network but CARRIER is 2.9 my BB is already 2.28
