How to s.off htc rhyme ? - GSM-Forum

Dear suporter ,,,i got some qty of HTC RHYME ( BLISS )which is on europe version as well S.On ,,,,know customer demanding for ARABIC CUSTOM FIRMWARE,,which need S.Off ,,,,,, i just want to know is there any simple way to S.Off RHYME ( BLISS ) ?

one thing more bootloader is LOCKED ,,,

To flash custom rom yu dnt need to s-off

unlock bootloader

flash custom recovery

flash the rom via custom recovery frm sdcard

ohh, love u bro ,,, realy very easy way to do this,,,, can u give me any valid link from where i can be able to download ICS in ZIP form not in RUU form,,,to complete this job ?

Clockworkmod-6-0-1-0-for rhyme GSM

Clockworkmod-6-0-1-0-for rhyme CDMA

Rom Download Here

Before flash take nandroid backup of yur current stock rom

Extract boot.img from rom flash via fastboot cmmd below

fastboot flash boot boot.img

copy the rom to sdcard boot into recovery mode nd flash the rom

Before flash full wipe data cache system nd delvik cache

yu dnt need to rename the rom jus copy to sdcard boot into recovery flash it

yes every htc models has separate ways to s-off but to flash custom rom no need s-off

s-off helps for change cid ,downgrade yu mob, can flash any ruu

Means bro you want to say ,,,if we need to flash any custom rom ,,,just flash first CWM file then can be done by SD card method ,,although set is S.On,,,am i right brother ?

and what about bootloader position ? it should be UNLOCKED ? is it necessary to flash custom rom?

Actualy these are the basic question,,,and once your concept becomes clear ,,the job becomes very easy ,,,somebody feel shy to ask such a basic question ,,,but i realy want to know the ans of my question ,,,which mybe helpfull to other also. and credit will goes to you bro.

I am little bit confuse about fastboot flash boot boot.img from where can i download and at what stage i have to do this before flash RECOVERY file or afterwards,, sorry for mess,,,but its good time to learn all this.

Read 5th post

To flash custom rom yu must unlock yur bootloder ,if yu dnt unlock the bootloader yu can not flash custom recovery.
