you get this error because you selected WRONG file.
there exists two flash types for 6230i: E and M
E for one type of nand flash chips, M for NOR+NAND ( or E for NOR+NAND - don't remember)
if your flahing fails just select another variant of PPM and CNT file (those with E/M letter manually) and flashing will go smoothly.

about 6303i, its RAP4 based phone.
you probably using wrong, non modified cable for RAP3 (6303, not 6303i-c).
you can use usb flashing aswell for this phone.

I Have the cable from gpg it is a hq one ive also tried it with a adapter on?

do i need to purchase special modified cables for cyclone?

I faced this problem some days ago. I flashed 6230 (not "i") and get same error - Given Image not maches with readen UPP Id or Image problem. Ticking skip upp check do not work and has no efect! This is attention to developers of soft. I flashed successfuly same files with JAF, but if i dont have it will be problem.

Totally agree with peter if Uni - can flash it with the same sw i used i dont understand why cyclone has a issue?

Maybe im making mistake somewhere.

Im also confused when you say modifyed are the gpg new cables not good enough, and further need modifying?
