no mater how manny Gb have the card...the speed will be the same at 1 and 2 gb

6990 card have 2 GPU each video card, this means 3 x 6990 will be 6 GPU and windows work only with max 4 GPU procesors...that means you can make a computer with max 2 x 6990

Get 2 5850 instead which with OC at 900Mh will give you a bit more then a 5970.

In my LBF PC with 2 HD5850 OC to 850Mz.core -1salt =42,7sec.
Max time = all salt is 10 000 x43sec.=5days.

Not really worth
If you consider the cost of an High power PSU, the cost of a main board with 4 slot pci-e with the due distance, the cost of the cooling system, the cost of a dedicated case (You need at least 9 slots to have space for 3 boards with the due "breathing" space), would you cost less make 2 computers

Just an idea, I could not test, but I thought of using an mini-ITX MB with ATOM CPU with a PCI-E X1 slot and 1 HD5870 card and win XP..... maybe works, you just need to "cut" the back part of the "PCI-E x 1" slot and can insert the VGA card into the slot.... also i think you are Ok with a 400W PS.....

no you can use 4 5870 or 2 5970 but for 4 5870 you best mother board with 4 pci 16x

Karwos is on vacation or what? When we will see another version of log2cod, this time based on oclhashlite to be more faster? I know that we must have patience but time is ticking away and time is money...
I worked only with log2cod and it is good, only one code not found but it was my fault because I OC the cards too much and I had many errors.
So in conclusion, Karwos please release a new version of log2cod!

hell sir am try to to read log file with cyclone box but i get this Prepare phone failed with message -> Not found required CMT Secondary Loader
Neither CYC file and exists or failed to read it from phone (Failed to Boot / Prepare Phone)
Failed to Read SL3 LOG File -> Failed to obtain Phone Unique Data

there is two explication for this mesage:
1. you dont use the last update of cyclone software...or
2. you try to read a log from unsuportded hash phone
