D-UltimateUnlocker "please boot via ROM" - GSM-Forum

k770, db2020 cid53. trying to downgrade to cid52 using ultimate unlocker.

connects but i get the errors 'unsupported boot mode' 'please boot via rom'. this is mentioned in a few threads on various forums without any confirmed resolution.

have tried v1.03 & 3.06 beta - same result both times.

also tried the following key combinations:
2 + 5
2 + *
5 + *
8 + *

please help, or if the answer is available just tell me to keep searching.

there is nothing else as wrong connecting of phone. Hold on phone together keys 2 and 5 and then connect cable to phone, check in device manager if driver is installed. Be sure you are holding as first key 5 and then hold also key 2, so you will holding both keys at same time.

please aadd to the program that phones keyflex may be moved
because the problem was that i hade to press around the keys too make it work not direktly om the key but allso arond the key thanks for the help and im sorry fo my bad english

The right combination is: power off phone, hold together keys 2 and * and connect USB cable to phone. If you have problems, open Device manager in windows, check if you have driver installed.
