Member: 1709786 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ok before i order one of those PMIC 3 more questions #1 can it be one of those 3 parts in the red circle which is short and causes the heating? is there any way to measure that with an multimeter? it heats up way to fast that i could check it with my lips xD #2 what is a good price for such an PMIC? or can i use one from an broken board? #3 i have 2 boards with broken(cracked) coils (the one in the blue circle) can they be the reason for no power up? |

2.Yes you can use from other board if you are sure it is not bad/burn/short. 3.Not sure that is charging coil if it have crack in Ferite that is nothing also check if it beep is good but it also can be bad if beep,i check at omh if it show 00.1omh can be bad but if 00.3 or 00.4omh it can be good. You compare readings between working phone and dead. | |

Member: 1678566 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | Wites, I have an iPhone 4 that was dropped from a building. I changed the display and it seems to work however the sim card reader seems to be intermittent. When I restore firmware, it says No Sim Installed, I put in a sim and it connects to a carrier and everything, however later on it says "No Sim Installed" or it says "Searching" even though the sim card is still inside. Then it says Restore Required and puts the phone in recovery mode and makes "no imei, no bt, no wifi" until I restore a new firmware and start again. I looked at the logic board and nothing looks damaged. Just wondering if you ever had this problem? |
