audio compiller in a you youtube is not accurate ,not all mic problem can fix ,that is danger to the beginner cause ( toco IC ) was sealed near by processor mostly mic problem is caused by drop ,,, there is a time once you change Ic become no IMEI or it turn to recovery mode . i will tell to all readers the truth because we are the supplier of
iphone here middle east we are also handling warranty we are reapairing hundreds of warranty mic problem . here is some tips before you changes IC you have to changed first the chasis assebly get the other chasis then put the board and test ,there is some instant that the chasis is shorted thats why microphone does not work during call
the next tips is check the board if bended. remove back cover then press the buzzer area or flex assemly while undergo test call..if working mic while pressing thats means bended board you have to changed chasis ..the other tips is check the two resistor at the right of toco ic dmage you have to change two resistor which equivalent to 1kiloohms value .
after checking all the tips now its time to change (toco) ic but be carefull all the beginners ( dont apply more heat sealed is soft only, not hard unlike nokia the sealed is very hard (emicon)

I have removed the chip and i have the stencil but i dont have the solder balls can anyone confirm is it the .25mm solder balls? also does anyone have a link to the data sheet of this audio compiler ic.

hi all guys i have fix it its audio compiller remove it and resold it its done tested 100000/100000 but care its big risk audio compiller is protected and hes near of a4 procesor

To protect processor from loosing his bolls,you can cover with a gnd shield
with the same size from a nok.. phone,then stabilise the ic on board then
give ~230c heat at the same time put soldering iron on gnd and it will settle
on its bolls.

Louadspeaker turns on the mic . Headphone mic is working .

Already changed the primary mic flex . Cleaned the secondary mic's hole .
Firmware installed many times .

Is reballing is the last option left for me ?????

I have found new ic in ebay, price is 29£.. Buy one then change then reball ..then use for next one then reball again !!!

Activate TTY in your phone settings and it should knock out the noise cancelation mic for whatever reason so u can speak back to whoever is calling again! Hurray. Oh and if that don't work give it a few good smacks against something and it will work for a bit. Garrenteed.

This seems to work only for the 3gs, right?
I have an iphone 4 with an broken noise cancelation... but the tty settings do not appear in my phone!
i opened up the carrier.plist and changed the "ShowTTY" to true.

somehow its still missing. Do i need a special tty device attached to the iphone?
Turning the stupid noise cancelation off would be the best way!

i reballed the audio IC. afterwhich, the phone cannot be turned on. what could be the issue? The PCB looks fine. have i 'shaken' the A4 with the heat? i shielded it during the process. how do i fix this now?

Have you solder in right position that ic?
Give it another try,reboll it make smaller bolls use my guide you can make
dimension of bolls how you want go here http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f148...g-way-1346110/
Because some time when bolls are big it may short between them.
