The problem is in your mother board where you connect the touch problem check them if there is any corrosion then clean it properly and try it wil work other wise you have to change the connector

iPod Touch 5th Gen No Power Board getting very hot
So it got submerged in the lake and after trying the rice trick for a few days with no luck I decided to open her up. I cleaned the board with 91% isopropyl alcohol
Then I replaced the battery. When I plug it in now it still shows no sign of power and the board heats up too hot to touch so something has to be shorting out. Do you know what it might be?

I have an iPhone 4 AT&T with water damage only in the charger port but it has the following problems only making or receiving a call.

Earpiece doesn't work, no sound on speaker phone, mic won't work, headphones with mic doesn't work either. But they all do work when doing things like recording a voice memo, watching a video, listening to music, etc.

Also it doesn't pick up any wifi even though it's turned on. Bluetooth works whenever not in a call. The volume button gets stuck on volume up when you restart the iPhone and press the volume down button and the volume up button doesn't do anything when pressed. Once you press the volume down button, the volume screen stays up until you restart the iPhone.

Replaced the headphone jack flex cable, earpiece, and loudspeaker. Disconnected the charger flex cable to ensure it's not the issue since I don't have that piece to replace at the moment and nothing changes. Did a restore and nothing either. Same issues.

Any help?

i have iphone4 and screen has just gone white and back of phone is really warm round about where the simcard is and the board to the side of it,is it likely to be the screen or board.......

Hello to everyone here. I have a problem with my iphone 3gs. Before 3 days it was working fine, but now won't turn on. I decided to open, and i found that the battery was damaged. So i decided to change the battery, but when i put a new battery and install the motherboard, the motherboard overheat enough to burn your hand. I have tried with 3 different batteries but same thing. I want to specify that the overheating zone is under the 5 and 6 connector, around the gps module. Please i want to know if this problem is repairable, if yes any instruction for that? Please tell me what to do. Thank you in advance
