USB option disabled question [Answered]

Hi,

i have a problem after i set brand for example "ZTE" in USB section of the software(version 1.6.2), i choose the model which is Z836 BL and sudenly the software disabled that section and changed into eMMc section without any other option on.
and all that after i downloaded the correct SRF of the model.

isnt supposed to support that?
can i do that in usb mode after the device on EDL?

thanks.

Of course, this is because SRF file for this device model at the Support Area ("ZTE_Z836BL_EMMC.srf") if for repairing this device via eMMC, not via USB, so Software switches to proper interface.

This device is based on MSM8917 CPU and if You want to connect it via USB, do the following: select "Brand: Custom Settings", "Device (Core): MSM8917", select USB loader, put the device into "Qualcomm...9008" Mode and try to connect. There are many USB loaders for MSM8917, try to connect the device using different loaders only buy one. If the device will be connected successfully, do "Smart Repair".

Ok thank you for that!

Is there any case that in the processes after the connection some files might be deleted and this is why you told me to do "smart Repair"?

I'm still new with this world and trying to figure everything about. so thank you for your attention.
