Member: 19340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Programming Greencard2 ERRORS i tried to write on Green2 Galaxy card Pic 877 - 256EEPROM with SmartMouse/Phoenix programmer configured as Phoenix 3.57Mhz but impossible to do it: "error address 000h" ??? so perhaps my programmer is not good?? With Dejan simscan2.01 and Cardinal all is ok!..I'm able to read and write any simcard, but with IcProg1.05A and IcProg1.05C nothing to do! Always.."error address 000h" !! Otherwise where can i found a good but cheap programmer for Sim cloning ....? Any suggestions?.. Thanx Hg_62 |

Member: 19340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank! Yesterday initially setted SmartMouse/Phoenix osc.freq. to 6.00MHz, and this can damage the waferchip? Then I tried others setting but always.. "error address 000h" !!! I hope You are rigth..otherwise I'm afraid, peraphs, my 2 greencard are broken! Anymode is ok..it works fine with simscan2.01 and Cardinal but not with IcProg1.05A and IcProg1.05C! P.S. Is ok set programmer as JDM? SmartMouse/Phoenix is not present in IcProg1.05C list! Thanx again! hg_62 |

Member: 10582 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 99 | You must first to write the flash file with a TE-20 programmer (JDM device in ICProg). Then you must to write the external EEPROM file with a Phoenix and to make this, I recommend the new SIM-EMU configurator. Regards |

Member: 24144 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @SIMEMU Dear Daniel, first of all your built-in loader is exellent feature! Thank you so much for everything! Could you please answer one qwestion? You use the same "loader-code" for both 8/16/32 KB cards? I mean during configuring the PIC/EEPROM for different cards the code of the loader remains the same? Thank you! |

Member: 10582 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 99 | Of course, the loader is the same. Look at my new SIM-EMU Configurator program (EEPROM tabsheet) that detects the EEPROM type and it allows to read/write the EEPROM. Regards |

Member: 19340 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @SIMEMU You have written me "SmartMouse/Phoenix programmer is only for writing external EEPROM. For the flash programming, you must to have a TE-20 programmer." Ok! i've to buy this programmer.. I was locking for this programmer but..nothing! Instead I've found a Multiprogrammer 2001 XL or MAESTRO Card Programmer..are they equivalent/usable instead of TE-20 programmer? Any other suggestion..? Thanx Regard hg_62 |

Member: 10582 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 99 | They are multiprogrammer and works as Phoenix and JDM (TE-20). They are more expensive that a simple TE-20, but they are fine to your needs. I don't know which of them is better, ask in this forum for a recommendation. Regards |

There is not needed another programmer if you have jdm and phoenix programmer. At first you need write flash hex with JDM programmer ,and then eeprom hex with phoenix programmer.I have Win Me ,ICprog 1.5C ,Winphoenix, and all works fine.(did you try increase I/O delay timming values?) Yesterday I got 6 greencards ,4 I have done and two does not responding and says error 000f.All card are from malaysia and are in iso format. I think that fault sometime becomes during cutting to plug-in format, because some cards have too soft cover, and chip is mechanically destoyed.Maybe... Tina sorry my bad english.... | |
