Member: 308822 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 380 | Thought I would share as I struggled to find a way around it for this model and software and had to read and watch various different methods from all over the web with no joy. Tested on XT1506 but may work for other models. For SURNIA I believe there are other methods as they hav 1. Boot into bootloader (hold vol down and power button while off) and connect to PC via USB. 2. Use vol down to scroll to 'QCOM' and select with vol up. 3. After phone reboots, wait for adb prompt on phone screen and select OK. 4. Open adb command prompt and enterCode: adb shell content insert --uri content://settings/secure --bind name:s:user_setup_complete --bind value:s:1 This should complete the setup wizard. You may have to select the next screen arrow. 5. You now have full access to the settings menu and Backup & reset>Factory data reset> Reset phone is no longer greyed out. Select the option, let the phone reset and you can now set up the phone as new. Fallow this method 100% working |
