Member: 1713460 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 28 | Improvements I want to see in new builds of XTCtool But I want to say there are some moments in your software which make using not very comfortable. I want to help you to make your tool better. That's why I started this thread. I want to ask you make it sticky near the "unsupported models" thread and let the users to write their suggestions for XTCtool developement. So I will start from myself. The first suggestion is according log file: it is very uncomfortable to search needed info in the VERY BIG log file which was created in the very beginning... It will be better if separate log file will be created for each XTCtool session, and file name will start from date in the next format: "year.month.date_..." The secong suggestion is according model finder: it will be very nice if your tool will have a tab, where we can choose the model (maybe also submodel and carrier) and see which procedures are supported for this phone and which methods should be used (maybe also add short instructions in new window - like in octopus box software) |

As to the log file - I can promise to make it in the upcoming release on the upcoming week. As to model finder - that's true, we know we need it, and I hope it will be done 2-3 releases later. |

So- you don't need to chose model you need. XTC2Clip is just more like fastboot and ADB UI, all modells use similiar commands. |

desire 626s for sprint uses sprint tab for unlock, desire 626s from boost uses another method. And anyway, there are 3 or even more methods for sim-unlock because phones have different simlock methods and you will never simunlock sprint m7/m8 using classic method (simlock menu from bootloader)

Found one small issue: was servicing One V PK7611000 and saw when reading phone info programm shows MID as primou (but indeed support.xtc2.net includes firmwares for primo_u) Screenshot That's why when I push primou link in programm to search firmware on support.xtc2.net it will find nothing. Need to type _to find firmware
