One of the nuances in getting SDR devices to work with *Specific* waveforms, such as OpenBTS-UMTS, most times requires a hardware change:
OpenBTS-UMTS requires a 61.44Mhz clock. The clock that is on the HandHeldSDR is a 64Mhz clock, but swapping it out for a $5 or less 61.44Mhz clock would be necessary to run OpenBTS-UMTS. |
