Hello experts,

I bought an iphone 5s having water damage with the hope of fixing it. It went in a pool as per seller's description.
1. Opened the phone and found the battery control circuit was fully corroded. Threw it in the bin.
2. Removed the emi shields and thoroughly cleaned the board with isopropyl alcohol. Luckily the board didn't show any signs of corrosion except rust marks from the emi shield on inductor L9 and one corner of A7 chip near the screw hole. (board surface seems fully clean and corrosion free)
3. Put the shields back on and tried to power up the device from the usb cable without battery but got no signs of life.

Suspected faulty parts- LCD and dock connector

Your expert advise is required to proceed further for fixing this phone.

Thanks
