if your reading this i am sure you have seen it before but does anyone have a fix for this or is it simply a case of the LCD is faulty.

pretty sure i had seen someone "hacked the LCD" to stop doing this but can no longer find it on the net.

the pinkish box that takes up 80% , sometimes more of the screen is most noticeable on white background.

i know that these were most common on the early iphone 5 units but apple since fixed the problem.

so whats peoples experiences with this. has anybody found a way to eliminate/reduce the issue
